Friday marked the groundbreaking for Journey Home, a 15-unit affordable housing project that represents a true community collaboration.
Local and state officials, leaders, and stakeholders gathered on April 26 to celebrate the official start of construction on the apartment building that will house homeless families with children. The building is located down the street from North Star Family Services shelter, which has been serving homeless families in North Central Massachusetts for over 20 years and is behind the innovative housing project.
