Prepare and Deliver a Meal

When a volunteer from a congregation or civic group agrees to provide “a dinner meal” for the shelter,

it is a shelter critical assignment. Our families rely on the dinner meal to arrive prepared and hot by 5:30 p.m.

every evening. The meal volunteer purchases the ingredients and cooks the meal at their home, church or

other location and delivers it to the shelter. Oftentimes, salads and dessert is brought for the families.
